Job description:

We are looking to hire a super talented rockstar Android Developer highly skilled with developing consumer facing applications from start to finish.  The tools we are looking for in you include:

 

·         Minimum of 5 years’ experience developing software in Java

·         2 years additional relevant professional experience accepted in lieu of a degree

·         Minimum of 3 years’ experience developing mobile applications on the Android platform

·         Must have created a consumer facing application from start to finish and deployment in Google Play

·         Strong background in creating high-end presentation layers with fragments

·         Strong debugging and performance testing skills in Android a must.

·         Experience developing multithreaded software and network based software using async calls

·         Knowledge in working with REST API's, JSON/XML and consuming web services in Android.

·         Experience working with designers to implement their UI design

·         Deep expertise in Object Oriented analysis and design, and Android design patterns

·         Successful track record collaborating with product owners, product managers and business Subject Matter Experts to ensure delivered solutions optimally support the achievement of business outcomes

 

The things we desire to find in your tool box include:

 

·         Expert knowledge of Android development with the Android SDK, Immersive UI development with Fragments, and Android compatibility libraries

·         2 years hands-on agile/Scrum experience

·         Background profiling and optimizing a mobile application

·         Experience with continuous integration and automated testing

·         Experience in GPS and Bluetooth
