Core Java  developer with Web Development

Location –  Boston, MA

Duration : 4+ Months

 

Face to Face required

 

Job description:

 

Candidate will be required to take an IKM Test

 

Keys to the Position:

·         Candidates must have at least 7 years of of Core Java experience

·         Spring and Hibernate experience is a must

·         30% of the role will be doing Web development with Javascript, HTML, JSP's and Servlets

·         Application Performance experience with JProfiler or YourKit or others is a must (We are currently using YourKit so this would be a big +)

·         Experience with Tableau would be a big +

·         Integration experience with a BI tool would also be a big +

·         Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills

 

Job Qualifications

·         The ideal candidate must have excellent communication skills and proven ability to design and deliver solutions relevant to complex business problems.

·         A minimum of 5 years in systems development using Java and J2EE

·         Web Development experience

·         BI Integration experience

·         Strong knowledge and experience with latest Java based development frameworks (e.g. Spring 3.0, Hibernate 4.0)

·         Strong motivation and ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment supporting a business-critical production environment

·         Strong analysis, design and modeling skills

·         Knowledge of software development and testing methodologies and their effective application

·         Computer Science degree or related field

 

Job Responsibilities             

·         As a Senior member of this team, the individual will have the following responsibilities:

·         Technical design, implementation, deployment, and support of financial applications

·         Partner with Business Analysts to review and implement business requirements

·         Partner with Project Managers, Technical and QA Leads on estimates, statuses, identify issues and raise risks

·         Partner with the Architecture team to ensure track work is aligned with the strategic direction of the enterprise

·         Stay current with evolving industry and technical trends to ensure systems and team are of highest caliber
