Prophetic Sunnah: Pray Qiyaam in the first 9 days of Dhul-hijjah

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم

 

The Companion Saeed bin Jubair (ra) said: “Do not extinguish the lights during the 10 days [i.e. to pray during the nights]“

As we know, these days are the most virtuous says of the year. The Prophet (pbuh) encouraged us to increase our good deeds, and the Companions (ra) exerted so much effort during these blessed days. Thus they increased their worship in the day and in the night. If we do not regularly pray qiyam, then let us reap the rewards and pray them for what is left of these holy days.
