Prophetic Sunnah: Seek forgiveness before fajr

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم

Allah says in the Qur'an: "And in the hours before dawn they would ask forgiveness..." [Surat adh-Dhariyaat, 51:18]

If you can wake up just before fajr, this is one of the best times to seek forgiveness, as Allah has told us in the verse above. Moreover, in the hadith about the blessing of the last third of the night, among the things that Allah says is:

"Is there anyone asking My forgiveness so that I may forgive him?’” [Bukhari]"
