It has been finalized that OSSCamp Unconference is happening in APOGEE
'10. There will be a series of talks, workshops and demonstrations on
various topics related to Free and Open Source Software (FOSS). It
will be informal discussions with both the speakers and the audience
participating in equal measures. Around 15-16 sessions of 45 min -1
hour are planned for the Unconference, and it demands active
participation from students.
This mail is to call for participation from student volunteers to help
in organizing the event successfully. There are many ways how you can
help volunteer for the event. This Unconference is an event conducted
by the participants and your assistance will be greatly appreciated.
You can volunteer
* by live blogging the event
* live tweeting the event
* helping with audio and video podcasting
* helping coordinate the unconference
* manning the reception
* technical support
* by bringing audio recorders and video camera
You can also take up a session and deliver a talk on any open source
technology that you are well versed with. It can be any open source
application or programming aspects or any other thing.
