Session regarding "On Mobile App IDEA Contest using Android"

Hi,

An expert team from one of our PS2 companies is coming to BITS on 14th(tomorrow). They are organizing a mobile application development contest named MOBILE APP CHALLENGE in premier institutes(total 15 colleges in India) across India. The participants would have to develop applications for Android based phones. Any student enrolled in BITS Pilani can participate in the contest.

The schedule for the session on 14th Mar 2011 for Mobile App Challenge would be as follows:

 

Visiting Experts:

1.       Ratnesh Sharma (Vice President- Marketing, also BITS alumni)

2.       Sunil Bhatia (Engineering Manager, Data Products Unit)

3.       Prashant Kumar

 

They plan to reach Pilani on 14th Mar 2011 (1400 hrs). 

 

Conducting the Session at 1700 hrs which would be timed as follows:

• Total time: 2 hours (approx)
• 10 min: Introductions
• 30 min: Introduction to OnMobile
• 15 min: About the contest
• 30 min: About android application development and a walkthrough demo application
• 15 min: Q&A

Time: 5PM to 7PM.

Venue: 5106 LTC
