About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior MuleSoft Developer to design, develop, and maintain integration solutions using the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in building APIs, integrating enterprise applications, and implementing best-practice integration patterns. This role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams, solution architects, and business stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy integration solutions using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform (API Manager, Design Center, Runtime Manager).
- Create RESTful APIs, integrations, and microservices following API-led connectivity principles.
- Develop integration flows using Mule 4, DataWeave transformations, and reusable components.
- Participate in solution and technical architecture discussions; provide input on system design and integration strategy.
- Troubleshoot issues, optimize performance, and ensure scalability and reliability of Mule applications.
- Implement security policies, authentication mechanisms (OAuth, JWT, Basic Auth), and API governance best practices.
- Work with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Git, Maven, etc.) for automated build and deployment.
- Collaborate with QA teams on test planning, bug fixing, and validation of integration scenarios.
- Prepare technical documentation including RAML/API specifications, integration flows, and deployment guides.
- Mentor junior developers and contribute to coding standards and best practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Candidate should designing, developing, and deploying integration solutions using MuleSoft
- 5+ years of experience in MuleSoft development and enterprise integrations.
- Strong hands-on experience with Mule 4, Anypoint Studio, Anypoint Exchange, API Manager.
- Strong understanding of integration patterns (synchronous/asynchronous, pub-sub, batch processing).
- Experience integrating with REST/SOAP services, databases, MQ, SaaS apps (Salesforce, SAP, Workday, etc.).
- Knowledge of MUnit testing and code coverage standards.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git, Maven, and cloud deployment (CloudHub, RTF, or hybrid environments).
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.
Preferred Qualifications
- MuleSoft Developer / Integration Architect certification (MCD, MCPA, MCIA).
- Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, or container-based deployments.
- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Knowledge of event-driven architectures and messaging systems (Kafka, ActiveMQ).
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
