Firmware & Driver Engineer:
1. Debugging Windows device drivers, Windows Kernel, drivers for issues and investigating/debugging driver functionality for issues such as memory corruption, cyclical deadlocks in windows kernel, system hangs and blue screens of death.
2. Involved with all phases of product development, from microarchitecture design through firmware architecture and development.
3. At the design phase, you will be part of a team- driving the architecture, design and development of the security sub-systems including firmware development of low-level hardware interfaces.
4. The candidate should have strong defensive coding skills, debugging and troubleshooting abilities, with experience in driver development.
5. Windbg dump analysis skills
Required qualifications
1. Professional experience designing, developing software solutions.
2. Proven and demonstrable skill in C, C++, and embedded software/firmware development.

Roles and responsibilities:
- Understand architecture layers and how service is setup in Azure
- Understand Service runtime Dependencies e.g. Cosmos, SQL, SQL Agg, RC etc. What Azure resources are required to run your service.
- Understand the Resiliency settings (in Azure) and review recovery model of service?
- Identify steps required to setup a new service instance.
- Identify steps required to deploy a service instance and write/test automation for deploying a service if not available.
- Perform actions/automation to failover the service (when failover happens).
- Test and see if service is recovered after failover.
- Test the scenarios or run test cases associated with the service
- Identify the bugs that have hampered the service from recovering
- Document all steps required to bring up the service (this will be the BCP document)
- Rinse-repeat until the entire process is completely repeatable without failures.
