dream deferred

The poem “a dream deferred” has to do with the book “a raisin in the
sun”. They reason it has to do with this is because it relates to Ruth
and Walter. This relates to Ruth because she doesn’t want to have to
do anything bad with her mom and if she did shed be like a raisin in
the sun. She would dry up and smell bad because she didn’t do what she
was told. This relates to Walter because of basically the same reason.
Well one of the same reasons. Why it relates to Walter is because he
never listens so he like a big load they said in the poem and he would
stink like rotten meat which would be bitter because he never listens
to his mother in law and does everything for himself so he would
stink. This is how the poem and the book relate.
