Title: Users may have seen blank pages when opening Microsoft Bookings
User impact: Users may have seen blank pages when opening Microsoft Bookings.
Final status: We've determined that Bookings APIs were getting timed out because of repeated deprecated KV cache look-ups after a change was enabled for deprecation of the KV cache. We've deployed a fix and confirmed with a sample of affected users that impact has been remediated.
Scope of impact: Any user may have seen blank pages when opening Microsoft Bookings.
Start time: Wednesday, August 26, 2026, at 4:00 AM UTC
End time: Thursday, August 27, 2026, at 10:30 AM UTC
Root cause: Bookings APIs were getting timed out because of repeated deprecated KV cache look-ups after a change was enabled for deprecation of the KV cache.
Next steps: We’re reviewing our KV cache change procedures to help prevent the issue from reoccurring.
