Title: Some Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) users were unable to share screen or video during Microsoft Teams meetings

User impact: Users were unable to share their screen or video during Microsoft Teams meetings when using VDI with Omnissa devices.

More info: When users attempted to share their screen or video during Microsoft Teams meetings when using VDI with Omnissa devices, the participants may have only seen a blank screen.

Final status: We've re-enabled the correct code configuration and confirmed that impact has been resolved.

Scope of impact: Some users attempting to share their screen or video during Microsoft Teams meetings when using VDI with Omnissa devices may have been impacted.

End time: Saturday, December 20, 2025, at 12:39 AM UTC

Root cause: A recent update contained a change that set an incorrect configuration for a section of code that helps facilitate the sharing process in this scenario, which caused impact to occur.

Next steps:

- We're reviewing our update procedures to better identify similar issues during our development and testing cycles.
