Final status: We have confirmed through our telemetry and from some of the previously affected customers that the issue is now resolved.
Scope of impact: This issue primarily affected users in EMEA, and users in other regions may have experienced impact when interacting with the affected users.

Preliminary root cause: A configuration issue in the EMEA region prevented some client requests from successfully resolving service endpoints, resulting in impact to presence-related scenarios.
Next steps:
- We’re continuing to analyse the underlying configuration issue and reviewing our change management, testing, and validation procedures to reduce the likelihood of similar issues occurring during future updates.
We’ll provide a preliminary post-incident report in two business days, and a full post-incident report in five business days.
