Preliminary root cause: An unexpected increase in request traffic caused a portion of infrastructure that handles Microsoft Fabric access to operate in a suboptimal state, resulting in impact.

Next steps:

We're reviewing Microsoft Fabric request handling pathways to ensure similar future events don't occur.

We'll provide a preliminary Post-Incident Report within two business days and a final Post-Incident Report within five business days.
