//Peace from sunny southern California! Though I am a Bay Area cat, I'm not mad at the vibes down here, it's been fun to visit and kick it with friends and fam. Big shout to DJ Expo who invited me to spin at the weekly reggae joint Sonido Sundays.. definitely check that if you're in L.A.
//This Wednesday I'm throwing down a second Devil's Pie Sade Tribute, this time for my SoCal folks. The first one I did at Devil's Pie SF a year and a half ago, and it is still available as a free download online right here. For part II, I've definitely dug even deeper and prepared some surprises, so if you're in the area this is not to be missed. In addition, Beatrock Clothing has created an exclusive shirt, Butter Tart Cafe is providing red velvet cupcakes, and residents DJ Phatrick and DJ Roza will be holding it down with exquisite soul music before and after my set. Also, be sure to grab the live recording of DJ un.D.fine's Devil's Pie Maxwell Tribute set as well. See yall there!
//Also, thanks to all the djs (and djs and djs!), selectors, and bloggers (and bloggers, and bloggers!) who have been showing love to me for my latest mix "Folks get brown in the sunshine" definitely a response bigger than I anticipated! //This Thursday for "industry" folks, Jade Studio Productions is celebrating the grand opening of their Treasure Island studio, and Golden Soundscapes Z&D will be providing the sountrack, and last but definitely not least, this Saturday is Golden, and DJ Zita and I will be putting it down as always in the Mission with no cover. See yall back in the Bay!
