1. Answer for the discussion question #2.
To describe the experimental evidence for the wave nature of
particles, we can conduct the photoelectric experiment. In this
experiment, we can shine a light of certain frequency, fundamentally
one that is more than the threshold frequency, at a metal. In view of
the equation, Ek = hf - hf(threshold), energy apart from the one
needed to overcome the threshold frequency will be calculated as the
kinetic energy of the electrons particle. As such, electrons will be
emitted out of metal as photoelectrons and produce a wave-like
nature.
Notice that the question is "wave nature of particles." Particularly,
the question is asking for some or a experimental method to show the
wave nature of particles.
Correct me if I'm wrong.
