Holistic Housing Service
Dear Friends,
We write to you with great excitement regarding ALL MOST HOME Holistic Housing Service a subsidiary ministry of the Seed for the Need, Inc. a faith based community development collaboration that provides housing, counseling, life skills training and other relevant assistance to displaced men and women.
Years ago God gave us a vision to establish a transitional housing ministry with locations throughout the community" at large. Since then we have both become certified counselors specializing in rational emotive spiritual therapy with emphasis on addictions, homelessness and abuse, registered coaches and trainers as well as licensed ministers. As such we have become even more determined to assist men and women regain their independence and dignity by providing a safe environment along with practical instruction that will equip them to better face life's everyday challenges successfully.
Our commitment to the restoration of families, and consequently communities led us to open our home to 4 people we believe were sent to us as confirmation of our assignment. It has taken no time at all to out grow our meager provision as well as exhaust our personal finances.
We believe holistic housing is a relevant service. The recidivism rate for the homeless, as well as ex-offenders, addicts and abuse survivors is staggering.
The ultimate goal of AMH is to promote self empowerment, by not only facilitating life changes for the men/women through education, counseling, training and biblical instruction but also by providing informational seminars through out the community to raise awareness, defuse prejudices as well as lifting barriers that this population faces.
Following our letter is an itemized outline of AMH's ongoing support interest. Please consider them as your invitation and opportunity to further potentialize AMH's capacity to serve the needs of those transitioning from homelessness, incarceration and substance abuse and dependency.
