As the New Year approaches healing anxiety and depression have been on
my mind.
Stress is a funny thing I have decided.
Why do I think this?
Well, one minute you think that you cannot stand another thing going
wrong or one more negative comment or even an uncomfortable situation.
Put the panic and stress techniques into practice and use your
visualization and positive affirmations.
The next thing you know you are feeling more confident and all of a
sudden the things that were bothering you have shifted. Your train of
thought has changed and anxiety has gone out the door so to speak.
That is right, send it out the door for a long walk and tell it to get
lost.
I got an iPod for Christmas this year and I have about 8 hours of
music downloaded on it.
What is so great about the music is that I can have what I want on it
and I can change it if I like.
It is great to have control over something even as small as my choice
of music and where and when I am going to listen to it.
If we look at our lives there are many things we do have control over
that we are not paying attention to....
