Hey everyone!
Congrats for everyone who showed up, unfortunately I couldn't!

One thing for sure is, if the way foward is not followed, we will always start afresh instead of going ahead, as for the past meetings held the other times.

I hope we could manage to have smaller task forces that will increase involvement first then engagement with members!

Otherwise, am happy for all brothers and sisters who took part on the event, hope to seeing you all soon!

Subject: AIESEC Alumni Chill-out report

Hey,

I hope this email finds you well. I have attached a report of the first alumni gathering this year 2012/2013 that was held last week on 9th August 2012 at Holiday Inn. Hope you can find time to read it.

I have shared some photos on facebook in the AIESSEC ALUMNI TANZANIA group so check them out here;

I am trying to have an updated alumni database with current contact information so please help me fill it in, add your friends so we can contact them for the next one too;

The next gathering is gonna be next month September 2012, so you can also suggest a date that could be convenient for you for more alumni to attend.

Feel free to contact me and share ideas on how to make AIESEC Alumni of Tanzania a stronger association and beneficial to all.

Have a lovely day!

Regards.

Hi,
Brilliant stuff on the Alumni Chill Out. Good turnout. Also great news about Pioneers, please continue updating us.
My experience with the Alumni Portfolio is that alot of us would like to be involved, however for those preoccupied with other activities AIESEC is not a priority for any long period of time. Its a good idea to hold regular meetings as well as regular communication updating us on the progress within AIESEC. We may miss one activity but with the constant updates we may make it for the next one. I offer a precaution that the current leadership should not give up on Alumni involvement.
Rhoda you are doing a great job, keep up the spirit.

Thank-you Enos, Edith and Matinya for your responses,

Ideally for now about Pioneers, there is a plan to have an East African Alumni Meeting for all alumni in the region. However, this is a proposal from AIESEC Kenya and would need a go ahead from the AIESEC Tanzania alumni since AIESEC Tanzania is the host entity.

Also, maybe if we could have another alumni gathering say within the first week of September, it would be good. I am open to date suggestions that is convenient for most of you.

I have attached the Pioneers proposal for your necessary perusal.

I look forward to more feedback and proposed date for then next alumni gathering.

Regards.

Dear all,
I totally agree with Matinya the idea of having alumni task force teams.
Rhoda- keep us posted on Pioneers updates and what is expected of us so that we get prepared in advance to avoid last minutes rush. I saw a copy of the proposal which gave me a clear picture of the event may be it can be shared to all alumni so that we should all be in the same page.
Thanks
