AUDITIONS FOR MALE SINGERS
The Virginia Samford Theatre announces auditions for male singers on Saturday, August 25, 2007 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM for Les Miserables: School Edition. Performances will be held January 24 – February 3, 2008 with rehearsals beginning Fall 2007. Male auditionees 19 and younger who are currently full time students are welcome to audition.
Everyone auditioning should bring a current headshot, resume and sheet music for accompanist. Please prepare a legitimate musical piece that shows your vocal range (ie Classical Musical Theatre or Light Opera). We are in need of serious singers; please no Pop or Contemporary Musical Theatre selections. No taped accompaniment or a cappella auditions allowed. Auditions will be held at The Virginia Samford Theatre located at 1116 South 26th Street off Highland Avenue next to Caldwell Park .
