Sheffield, AL - Whippoorwill Hollow Films announced today that it
would be holding a series of workshops for actors and aspiring
moviemakers. The first session will be held Saturday, August 25, 2007
at 8:30am in The Shoals, and will be a how-to AUDITIONING TECHNIQUES
Workshop. The program will last approximately four hours.
The Director is Steve Wiggins, who has over 750 Television programs
and motion pictures under his belt. His most recent project was
directing and starring in the feature-length motion picture, "Birth Of
A Legend: The Story Of The WAWA", scheduled to premier in The Shoals
this fall. Sheri Wiggins, who produced the movie, will serve as co-
director of the AUDITIONING TECHNIQUES Workshop.
The session will include a discussion on what actors should expect
when they stand in front of a Casting Director for the first time.
They will learn how to present themselves in the best possible light.
Also they will learn the Seven Deadly Sins of Auditioning, or, how to
blow an otherwise great audition by doing something stupid. Attendees
will have the opportunity to read several pages of a script, called
'sides' for Mr. Wiggins, and then receive his critique and some notes
on areas that need improvement.
A headshot will be taken and provided to the actor at no additional
cost.
The location for the AUDITIONING TECHNIQUES Workshop has not been
finalized. Once the number of attendees has been determined, they will
be notified by e-mail a day or two prior to the session.
Cost: $35.00 (fee includes headshot).
Payment must be made in advance. Participants may pay the $35.00 fee
with a credit card by logging on to www.PayPal.com, and selecting the

made by August 23, 2007. The Workshop is limited to 25 attendees.
The workshop is open to persons 13 and older. A Certificate Of
Completion will be provided.
