Open casting call set for movie to be filmed in Dothan
Friday, Jul 20, 2007
An open casting call will be held for a movie to be filmed in Dothan this October.
The story is loosely based on familiar Alabama characters and stories. It involves a family of bail-bonders trying to hold their business together while pursuing their individual dreams. For the father it's creating and coaching a pee-wee football dynasty, for one brother it's leaving the life for the "larger" world, and for another brother it's chasing the beautiful women of the South.
Auditions will be held at the Cultural Arts Center, 909 S. St. Andrews St., Dothan, on Aug. 9 from noon-9 p.m.; Aug. 10 from noon-9 p.m. and Aug. 11 from 9 a.m.-9 p.m.
All ages of motivated and talented actors are invited to audition. Volunteers will also be needed to help with production.
