If you get a chance, read "The Raw Milk Revolution: Behind America's
Emerging Battle Over Food Rights" by David Gumpert.
I'm not a raw milk advocate (because I'm not a milk advocate and it's
absurdly difficult to buy such products), but the conflict written
about in this book is extremely important.
I suspect raw milk is probably healthy (of course in moderate amounts)
just as many other natural foods are.
But the real issue is do we have the right to produce and consume
products *we* feel are healthy? Or should the government ban foods
because the government agencies think they are unhealthy?
It's really a very interesting book (I'm only about halfway through
reading it now).
