regarding the visa

hello people,
I had applied for the visa on 3rd of July, its been more than 5 months
now., but there is no correspondence from their side... VFS website
also doesnt indicate anything.
How much time does it really take for them to issue the visa.
And is there anything i can do to inquire except siting and waiting.

I applied on 27th june from delhi, its been 6 weeks now. Still no correspondence.

You will get the call from the embassy shortly.. I applied on the 27th May and got the call on 8th of July..There would be some confusion betweeen VFS Global and Embassy.. Embassy people will call you and ask for your passport which i suppose will be with VFS Global.  There is lots of coordination problem among them. After getting a call from embassy just call VFS and ask them to forward your passport to embassy.

I have booked ticket on 4th sept

me too got the tickets booked for 10th sep, i have booked on Qatar Airways as they are giving extra 20 kg allowance.... and its cheap too... got it in 19400. Besides this Lufthansa is offering extra 10kgs ans Autsrian is offering extra 10 too
