As many of you have noticed, fan-fics-r-us has not come back yet.  The main reason is money.  We are in a slump and getting food and clothing and such for my kids comes before the site.  Additionally I have noticed that over the years I have personally spent a few hundred dollars on the site with its re-design, and monthly upkeep.  I am not sure how much longer I can keep this going.  Truthfully, I need donations to keep the site running.  Without them I am afraid that fan-fics-r-us and the Nabiki and Ranma relationship archive may be gone forever.  When the Nabiki and Ranma site ran into problems I took it over and have had it as a sub domain till I could get enough money to make it its own domain… however that looks to be near impossible right now.

If anyone would like to keep the sites going then please donate via paypal to dat...@earthlink.net

Recommendation, drop the Nabiki and Ranma site but get the stories
backed up off of it first so they can be moved elsewhere. Perhaps put
them on the Internet Archive operated by the Creative Commons group or
make a special archive section in the Fan-Fics-R-Us.com page for them
when you get the site back up. Just don't let those stories
completely vanish off the Net.

I'd help but I'm strapped for cash myself. I live off government
assistance pretty much so I'm always in the poor house. Which is why
I'm working on a novel and intend to publish it.

The Nabiki and Ranma site add no extra cost to things. It is just a sub
domain. All it really creates is a bit more work for me. What I need is
help paying for the site to begin with. I need 40 to not only get the site
caught up, but its nearing the 1st when my next monthly payment is due. The
site is too big for the free web sites that are avail. Additionally there
is nc-17 and lemon stories on there which means I have a small choice of
where I put the site. Most free web site places do not want that on their
sites. Hostgator allow it, and is one of the cheapest priced places.

It looks like it may be a few weeks before I can devote enough money to my
site to get it caught up, and activated again.

After rent I barely have enough to live on with my income or else I'd help you there Tex.  As for the Ranma & Nabiki site if it adds no extra cost then don't take it down.  You might want to delegate work on that site to someone you trust and who knows what they are doing.  What kind of stuff do you have do for that site anyway?

I'm looking into ways to try and earn some extra money on the side.  My novel is good for the long term but I need something now.  If I get enough maybe I can help out a little but its a wait and see thing right now.
