Hi,

When I use this against files less that 4 GB in size it works great.
When I use it against files larger than that it seems to have trouble
slicing the files into pieces of equal size. Most of the pieces are
quite small and finish quickly, leaving the bulk of the file to be
compressed on one or two threads.

When run in verbose mode, those large pieces show up as be --1300%
completed (or much more) and they count UP towards zero.

If I could replicate your build environment I might be able to fix it,
but so far setting up a GCC environment with pthreads enabled has
proven too much for me.

Any help you can provide will be greatly appreciated,

Dave Rutledge
