This is the last reported sight of the Superdestroyer Apocalypse-class
HMS Grendel SCVN (A-109) before desapearing into Hyperspace. It was
taken from a remote deep-space surveillance station near Yuggoth, the
IV planet on the Beta Canopus system, in the Eufrates Sector. It
detected what appears to be Tentacles made of a type of unknown energy
that seems to be destroying the hull of the vessel. The last
transmition of Tercerus Captain commander Horatio Portos Lovecraft
was:"Yog-Sothoth knows the gate. Yog-Sothoth is the gate. Yog-Sothoth
is the key and guardian of the gate. Past, present, future, all are
one in Yog-Sothoth. He knows where the Old Ones broke through of old,
and where They shall break through again".

Nice mix between your work and the Ch'thuluh mythos in space... I've
been reading your descriptions on the 3D models in the 3DWarehouse and
I'll like to know more of your stoyline, You mentioned that the Zidrii
Invasion is just the second chapter on the Imperium Galactica Saga...
What kind of universe are you making? "Duniverse", "StarWarslike"?

I'm taking inspiration with the Asimov's Foundation Universe, the Dune
Universe, Babylon 5 Universe, the pre-empire Star Wars Universe and
the MetaBaron Universe about a Human Galactic Empire around 10,000
years in the future. I'm working now on a revised chronology of
important events in human history, from the point of view of Imperial
Scholars and Historians (distorted by time) but basically the story is
this:
A benign and noble Great House unites Mankind and creates the
Galactic Empire (known as the Old Empire), and for almost 200 years
brings peace and prosperity to Man. But eventually an evil House
betrays and takes control of the Empire, ultimating becoming stagnant
and after 1500 years destroys most of Human civilization. Then comes
the Dark Ages (3000 years) when the Empire fragments into hundreds of
factions, some of them becomes isolated, many disapears or are
destroyed and almost all de-evolve technologically to barbarism. The
Empire territory is the 15% of the original and many of the technology
that still works is not fully understanded. When Imperial Xeno-
Archeologists find what's left of a dead, ancient and technologically
superior Alien race, the last remanants of the Empire began a secong
wave of conquest to gain the territory that was lost in the past,
controlling them with a pseudo-religion of Technology (to the
conquered barbarians technology=magic).
This is the setting for the Story I've been working for some years,
House Aereanis was conquered by the Empire almost 110 years ago and is
defending the frontier against the Maab/Ikarran (a Great Clan) for
more than 35 years (Chapter 1). Then comes the reports from the
fringes of the Eufrates sector of the coming of the unstopable Zidrii
Armada (Chapter 2).
