What Makes Us Move is an International exchange programme between 6
European partner countries (Estonia, UK, Belgium, Finland, Germany and
Holland). This unique training programme, over a two year period,
will see each partner deliver a project in their specialist area.

PROJECT: Creating ‘CIRCUS THEATRE’

Led by A&FIC, the main focus of the programme is on combining the
artistic elements of circus with the wizardry of theatrical
presentation and the magic of character driven narrative. A devised
"circus theatre" piece and its basic principles are at the centre of
the London programme and will be performed at the end of the project.

January 5-9th 2011

Riverside Studios, Lyric Theatre Hammersmith & Bush
Theatre

WHO IS IT FOR?
Young people (aged from 16-25 years) and Circus Practitioners (25yrs
+ ) -facilitators, devisors, workshop leaders, trainers, emerging
artists, professional artists, educators- teachers, managers,
producers, support staff, technicians and stage builders)

PROGRAMME CONTENT:
MASTER CLASSES & DEVISING SESSIONS led by:
DANCE & MOVEMENT: Matthew Bourne New Adventures,
DEVISING: No Fit State Circus, A&FIC
THE PERFORMER AND THE AUDIENCE: John Wright (co-founder of Told by
an Idiot),
THE BODY IN PERFORMANCE: Dominic Rouse (co founder of Concerned
Architect/CSSD), STAGE FIGHTING: Adam Fahey (Director Performing Arts,
EH&WLC ),
STAGE CRAFT: James Donovan (Head of Production, Riverside Studios),
RISK MANAGEMENT: Pete Duncan (Co-Train)

         I spoke to you earlier this month about this event in January.You were going to send me an application form for my son John Tasker aged 20, who after discusion with you, we agreed he would benifit from coming for the whole five day event.Can you forward an application asap as I would not want him to miss out on such an exciting and important opertunity as it fits in with his career interests.
