Bookclub reminder

Hey folks,

Just a quick reminder to let you know that bookclub is on this Thursday (05 August), at Avid Reader, 6 for 6.30pm start.

It's Romance Month, so bring along your copy of 'The Book of Love' by Phillipa Fioretti, as well as your most treasured romance novels (trashy, highbrow — all's welcome).

It's going to be a ripper, and I'm gutted to say I'm still overseas. 

However, I'll leave you in the hands — not to mention heaving, ample bosoms — of Lara Murray and Katie Ellis. (Give me a break. It's Romance Month.)

And for those of you who want a headstart on next month's book, it's The Lacuna, by Barbara Kingsolver.
