Hey folks,

It's with a heavy heart that I make the following announcement: Y&R Bookclub is coming to an end.

There will be two more bookclubs in 2010, until we part ways, shed some tears, and finally retreat. The last two bookclubs will be as follows:

The last bookclub in December will be our last ever, so please bring your friends, baked treats, book recommendations and feisty discussion. 

And if you've enjoyed Y&R Bookclub as much as I have, I really encourage you all to start your own group! Talk to the friendly staff members at Avid Reader about organising a club of your own, and they will be able to provide you a meeting space, amongst other treats and services.

It's been such a pleasure talking books with you all over the last few years, and I hope this is just the start of your own bookclubs.

Katie and Lara will be hosting the September bookclub, and I'm back on the reigns in December. Really hope you're able to make both.
