Hello hikers!

Just a quick note to let everyone know that the Valley Vista Trail in Yolo County is now repaired after the fire this summer.  I went up there today and replaced the 5 stairs that had burned, as well as re-graded the trail at the top of the hill above the picnic table where the dozer had obliterated the route.  It's now good to go with no more exposed rebar and new stairs.
If you haven't been to Valley Vista, it's a trail that Tuleyome volunteers built on Yolo County park property.  The burn should lead to nice wildflowers this year, and many of the shrubs are resprouting from the roots already.
