Hey there.

- - -
Batman: The Animated Series is an old cartoon from the 90s, it revolves around the crime fighting adventures of Batman, although it does occasionally shift its focus onto the lives of the villains from the DC animated universe. The show is critically acclaimed and is praised by many due to it’s fun nature and the fact that the show is made for both kids and adults. I like this show because I think it never gets old, the jokes are always humorous and I always tend to find myself returning to this show from time to time, the show is timeless and has very little bad traits, the animation is smooth and well-drawn and the characters are full of personality, it’s a very well-balanced and beautiful cartoon.

The characters from the show consist of your classic Batman heroes and villains, including familiar faces such as the Joker, Nightwing, the Scarecrow, Bane and so on. The writers and designers revamped a lot of the characters from the original comics and gave them more personality and character, making them more three dimensional and less cheesy. The writers even gave Mr. Freeze a new backstory, making him more of a tragic hero rather than just a villain with a cool gun. The Animated Series also gave birth to a new character called Harley Quinn, the Joker’s henchwoman, who later made her way into the comics and is widely accepted as one of the best DC characters.

I’ve watch an episode of “ The Simpsons”, it was the 478’s episode of the Simpsons and the title of it was “Angry Dad: The Movie”, it is written by John Frink and directed by Matthew Nastuk.

The story was about Bart, which was the main character (son of homer) was invited to make a film of the web cartoon “Angry Dad” and he accepted the offer. Bart was also offered to be the voice actor of ‘Angry Dad”, because the original voice actor got some problem and he couldn’t do it anymore. Afterward, the short film “Angry Dad” was nominated for a Golden Globe and

They receive a award and they also win the Oscar.

I like the plot of it, because I think it’s really amazing that even a children can achieve awards like “Oscar”. But I think the art could be improved, because most of the character looks similar.

The main character of this episode was Ermon Millwood, Lisa and Bart

Bart was the main character and he was the one who make the film “Angry Dad” and he was also the voice actor and Ermon Millwood was the person who offers Bart this idea.

The Simpsons (Stage 1-4 Response)

I have watched four episodes of The Simpsons which is an animated comedy TV show. One episode is about how Bart, the main character, attempts to make the school bully sick from eating fast food, after watching a documentary on the effects of eating it, while Bart's sister tries to stop the bully from becoming obese. At the same time, Bart's dad Homer, is annoying the whole family, for example, making "lame" jokes when watching a movie at the cinema with a loud voice, and at times blocking the screen. He continues to be obnoxious afterwards until his imaginary friend, a character from a movie, teaches him how to be normal. The Simpsons airs on Fox on Sundays at 8pm. There are currently 24 seasons and 510 episodes of the show. The intended audience of the show are kids aged 9-13. I chose to watch this show, which is quite appealing,  because it is interesting and sometimes funny. My expectations before watching the show was that it was going to be like any other episode, portraying the life of the Simpson family. Knowing the characters, and the local environment, makes it easier for me to watch and understend. I found the show to meet my expectations, as it was interesting enough for me. I thought that it was ok overall, but I would not recommend it to anyone else as I never do and doing so is a waste of my time.

I watched Season 23 Episode 20, Season 22 Episode 4, Season 23 Episode 21, and Season 23 Episode 19 on the internet. A basic episode usually starts with the Simpson Family gathering around the TV, and it usually starts with a problem, usually in the form of a joke. At some times the episodes are very unpredictable. There are sound effects, and at one time, the sound effects were calls or messages from Homer's phone. The sound effects are usually just some extra noise so that the show does not get too boring.

The Simpsons is a good show because it is not boring like some other shows. The show is appropriate for its intended audience. One scene I Iiked showed a holiday place with loads of rides and fun stuff. The Simpsons is similar to other shows I have watched. It does not really distract one but it's more of an entertainment source or entertainment supplement, for example, one could play computer games while watching TV.

The characters are real in a way, but sometimes they do things that are a bit extreme for normal life. The characters have a full range of emotions. They are also like normal people: they get dirty, they need to use the bathroom, and they get sick, but one major difference is they hardly ever grow old the real life rate. Sometimes, things that never happen in real life happen, for example, things going out of shape in just ten days, or people pulling out guns for no apparent reason. The show, however, is not made to be realistic and the abnormality of the show adds to its humor.

The Simpsons ( Stage 1-4 Response) 2
This is my second response for another episode of The Simpsons which is an animated comedy show on Fox that airs every Sunday at 8pm. The show has 24 seasons and 510 episodes at the moment. This episode, Treehouse of Horror XXI is a Halloween special featuring three different stories. The first story, War and Pieces, is about a board game where toys are life-sized and alive. Bart, the main character, and his friend Millhouse decide to play the board game after Bart's mother, Marge, stops them from playing video games. In the end, the pair guesses a wrong letter in hangman and they both end up hanged. The second story, Master and Cadaver, shows Homer and Marge set sail on a yacht. The scene starts off with them in the middle of the ocean. They are then interrupted by a castaway. Then Simpsons couple fear he is a murderer and kill him. Homer then goes crazy, killing everyone (apart from Marge) fearing their knowledge of his crime (just like Macbeth) while Marge dies of guilt. This turns out to be the baby girl Maggie's imagionation as she takes a bath. The final story, Tweenlight, is a funny parody of Twilight, ending with Homer turning into a vampire. The intended audience of the show are kids aged 9-13. I chose to watch this show, which is quite appealing, because it is interesting and sometimes funny. My expectations before watching the show was that it was going to be like any other episode, portraying the life of the Simpson family. In this episode of The Simpsons, nothing interesting happened. It's basically about  the disagreement of a couple over their children's education. The Simpsons airs on Fox on Sundays at 8pm. The Simpsons (Stage 1-4 Response) 4 Note: "Understend" in the other responses is a misspelling for the word "understand".

I have watched another episode of the Simpsons. This time it is about how Bart, the main character, wanting to go on a vacation aboard a cruise ship after viewing a commercial about it. He begs his parents Homer and Marge, to take him there. However, they refuse. Seeing how Bart is dissappointed by their answer, the family takes a vacation on the cruise. The Simpsons all have a great time on the cruise, until Bart remembers that the fun on the cruise is soon going to end and that he is going to have to return to his normal life. He forms a plan to make the vacation last forever. Bart decides to play a video of an emergency to everyone on board. The video, which is actually a scene from a movie, shows a general warning all ships not to return to land as there has been a deadly virus that has spread on the mainland.  Bart then prevents contact to and from the mainland by pouring hot fudge all over the control panel of the ship.  As the ship stays at sea, food is scarce and mold grows around the ship. Nobody but Bart is having a good time. Chaos rules the cruise as people fight in the form of a post-apocalyptic civilization. Marge and Bart's sister Lisa soon find out about Bart's actions and they inform the others that the virus threat is a hoax. The furious passengers dump the Simpsons in Antarctica, leaving them by themselves. Lisa speaks of how wonderful it is to watch the penguins' lives while Bart objects, saying that the penguins have boring and lame lives.  Lisa then explains to Bart that although there are some painful times during life, it is his choice to have fun and a good life. Bart then starts enjoying life and having fun after that, continuing times that may not be so pleasant, for example, going to school, realizing that it is not all that bad. The episode ends with Bart as an old man remembering the fun moments of his life before dying. This is the best The Simpsons episode I have watched so far and it is very enjoyable. The show, however, is not made to be realistic and the abnormality of the show adds to its humor.

TV Program Response

Stage 1:

The show I watched is called Teen Titans, it is an animated series.  I watched season 1 episode 1The show is basically about 5 team mates come together and help protect their city from being destroyed by villains. Both 5 members are very different from each other. 3 of theme are aliens, 1 of the is half robot and the leader is human. Part of the show is actually based with the DC comics. It was once aired on Cartoon Network a few years ago. There are 5 seasons and 65 episodes. The audience is mainly for children and young teens, maybe from age 8 to 11-12 years old. I chose to watch this show because I watched since I was little and I really liked it back then. For my expectations now, it may be a little bit childish but it is still entertaining. I still think that this is a good show and I would still like to watch it.

Stage 2:

I watched season 1 episode 10, I watched the episode in youtube. The form of the show is that almost in every episode there is a villain in it attacking the titans, once in a while has 2 episodes linked together and the show hints out the mysterious past of each of the titans as the episodes goes on. The music in Teen Titans is a big part in the show. The background music expresses out the mood of the scene and makes you really excited.

Stage 3:

I watched season 2 episode 1 today. It’s actually a pretty good show, because it’s not as childish as cartoons now a day on cartoon network and it is entertaining and very exciting when watching it. There are parts in the episodes that are really funny, with the jokes and the faces and actions of the characters and those are my favourite parts of the series. The show is appropriate for my age but maybe people below my age might find it more entertaining. This TV show plays the role of distraction, insulate and amuse. The show distracts us from what we were doing because of the excitement and insulates us because we are so focused on what is happening in the fight.

Stage 4:

The characters in the show have real and different emotions, but they aren’t that real comparing to reality. The leader, Robin is human, he is very good at martial arts and fighting, but the weapons he has isn’t possible to exists in real life. 3 of the titans aren’t human, they are aliens from different planets but they all look like humans, except for one of them, which has his whole body green. The other titan is also human, but he had an accident and is now half robot. It maybe a but normal but what makes it unreal is that the robot part of him has weapons that are impossible to have. Their emotions are predictable. They act like normal human beings in the show though. They get dirty and messy, their hair sometimes gets messed up and they will also go to the bathroom. Cyborg, the half robot human sometimes runs out of battery and maybe has a virus in his computer system, which seems normal and there are a little romance as well involved, just like normal teens. If the show is a ‘reality TV’ , then it might not be that real, but maybe some parts of it would be unscripted, and the characters wouldn’t be acting. I think that it would feel kind of fake because if it was real, then the show must have lots of special effects being used.

Dragon Ball Z

Dragon Ball Z: Stage 1 (program note)

Today, I will talk about an Anime call “Dragon Ball Z”, it is a Japan anime, adaptation from “Dragon Ball comic”. It produces from April in 1989 to January in 1996, the word “Z” means Zenkai, and it has 291 episodes plus 2 special stories. The story is about a girl who is from a city, when she drive to somewhere in the forest, she see a little boy who live in the forest and the boy has one thing that the girl want, “Dragon Ball”……

Dragon Ball Z: Stage 2 (Analysis For Form)

I watch the 230, 231 and 232 episodes in an app call “PPS”. When I compare this three episodes, it sims the same, but I think that some of the parts change something, like the sounds of the character, it not always change but it so easy to find the mistake.

Dragon Ball Z: Stage 3 (Program Review)

I think that Dragon Ball Z have its good and bad. The good things are adults and children love to watch and it has some exciting moments. The bad things are the quality of the screen is so bad and it is not so bright to see it. I think this anime is appropriate to everyone because the story is just about fight, get Dragon Ball and fight.

Dragon Ball Z: Stage 4 (Final Analysis)

In the story of Dragon Ball Z, the character is not so real because the characters in the anime are seem so strong and have a Hugh body but in this real world, will not happen.
