1)  Tell me about your holidays without using the following (or any similar) words: sleep, computer, video, games.

2)  Describe your New Years Resolution.  What is it (or what are they)?  Why have you selected this?  How will this benefit you?

3)  How will you accomplish this goal?  What are the possible reasons why you might not be able to accomplish this goal?  How will you know if you have succeeded?

My new year resolution

In my resolution, I will want to improve my chinese language and english language, and I already know that I will have a low mark in this two subject, since I have a sucky mark in my SAW, and I will go and read as much books in the holiday and do different types of exercise like vocabulary.

In my christmas holiday my brother is back and he brought me to have a basketball game with some strangers, and they are very strong, but lucky that I had my brother and his friend Alvin, at last we win the game, in the holiday there is my BIRTHDAY TOO!!!!!!! our whole family came to have dinner, when I arrive I thought they all forgot my birthday, but they are not, when I am watching TV suddenly the lights are off and suddenly there is a cake in front of me and with a basketball court with players, I was too exited then I accidentally hit my COUSIN’s TESTICLES and my father is so angry, because my cousin is hurting very much and I am sad too so I use the knife and hit it on the cake as hard as I can to separate all my anger and sadness so I can calm down. then later those days me and my father almost watch all the movie that is showing on the cinema and there is almost the holiday that I did.

(Insert Creative Title here)

In this christmas holiday I have no accomplishments at all, except winning wars in Summoner’s Rift. I went fishing(feeding the fishes). I have managed to sleep 24 hours straight, and I threw away a ton of useless stuff. :( I also got a job as the breakfast delivery guy for my family as my house was getting redecorated so the kitchen was unavailable. I also managed to start daydreaming while walking so I got on a bus to Kowloon instead of going to Aberdeen which was my destination.

My new years resolution is to finish my last year’s resolution. I have selected this because I think my last year’s resolution was great but I haven’t completed it. My last year’s resolution is not to procrastinate. This will help me get better grades in school and be more prepared for IMPORTANT STUFF.

I will accomplish this goal by not procrastinating and I will think of how later.<-----(Procrastinating.) The possible reasons that I will not be able to accomplish this goal includes the following: Laziness, me being me, me being a miserable failure. :D

I will know when I have succeeded when I will actually not do projects 1 day before the deadline.

My 2013 Year's Resolution

I went to Ocean Park during the Christmas Holiday. I also enjoyed a bus simulator and ate food.

My new-year resolutions are to improve my school subjects and get better grades than last year. I also need to reach certain levels for different skills.

I will accomplish this goal by training more and putting more effort. I may not accomplish this goal because it is hard and I may not finish in time. I will know if I have succeeded by checking my results.

My New Years Resolution

During the Christmas holidays, I spent the weeks in Hong Kong, mostly at home. I went to church for a few times in the 2 weeks since it’s Christmas, I had fun spending hours at church with my church friends. I spent the start of the holidays doing homework, reading and watching TV. I went to my cousin’s and hung out with them for a few days, we played badminton together, watched anime and slept over at their place. I also spent my free time baking, I really enjoy cooking but I didn’t cook or bake for a long time since there’s school and I’m always busy. I baked brownies, cream puffs, chocolate cakes and it tastes good. I also spent most of the holidays reading. I am reading the Percy Jackson series, The heroes of Olympus: The Lost Hero. It’s a very thick book and I spent a month reading it. I carried it with me everywhere, bringing it with me when we went out with my family. It is a really good book but I would still prefer Harry Potter.

This year, I got a few new years resolution. This year, I hope that I would read more different kinds of books, not always Harry Potter and only English. I also hope that I could spend my free time more wisely. I hardly have any free time with nothing to do because of homework and art, piano and badminton classes, I should spend my free time doing things other than playing and chatting in my computer, spend more time reading and drawing.

To accomplish my new years resolutions, I should read more different variety of books. I only have English books that I enjoy and I reread the Harry Potter series for maybe 5 times now. I should start reading other books, and maybe sometimes read Chinese books, because not all of them might be boring. As for my second new years resolution, I usually spend my free time drawing, playing with my siblings before I got the MacBook. I think that I should keep doing that, because I already spend almost everyday facing the computer and my eye sight would also get worse. Therefore I should not use my MacBook during my free time, I should read more books, draw or do other things.

New Year! New Timetable!

During my christmas holiday, I didn't travel but just stayed in Hong Kong. I attend to my usual activities, for example basketball and soccer. I went hiking with my dad in Sai Kung and went to the most beautiful beach in Hong Kong. In other times I just stayed at home and did not do much things.

For my New Year resolution, it will be to read more chinese books, since I always read english books and never improve in Chinese. I would also want to play less video games because it makes my eyes become more close sighted and also wasting so much time. I could have just read more and improve well in my studies.

To achieve my new year resolutions, I will first make a time table for everything I will do everyday after school at home. I will add reading chinese books time, and also to control the time spent on the computer. Maybe I feel so bored while reading chinese books and immediately go back on playing my computer which means I failed my goal. To know that I achieved my goal, I would be able to follow the time table throughly.

New Year Books all around!

In this holiday, I didn't travel to somewhere else, but I visited my cousin and he was one year-old . In the rest of the time I just stay at home wandering around and complete the holiday homework.

For my New Year resolution, I would like to improve my reading skills and study more, by reading more books than before, since my mark of the previous english assessment was not good enough.

To achieve my new year resolutions, I will place more books around me, then when I look around I will think of books and I will also reduce the time I normally spend on playing , so I would have more time for reading.

New Years Resolution

In my Christmas holiday, I had done not many things, I just did my home works, went to visit my friends that study in the another school, had a Christmas party with my aunt and had BBQ with friend in Stanley.

In this year, I decide to have a resolution goal and my goals are to do home works more faster and be more happy, I think that these two are important because it is happy when you finish your home works. I will make a timetable for doing home works, it is helpful to finish the home works one by one.

Creative new year resolution title

In my Christmas holiday I went to Thailand with my family. We went to the beach and also went camping in the mountains and I thought it was fun to do. But the thing that I didn’t enjoy was the amount of homework that the teacher gave us because I didn’t have that much time to do the homework, and also the weather there. It was hot and sunny and I didn’t like it that much.

My New Year resolution for this year is to study harder and get better grades in my schoolwork, and in my report card. Also to work harder in math and Chinese to achieve better grades in those 2 subjects.

The way that I am going to achieve these goals is by paying more attention in class and completing all the class work and homework that the teacher assign me to do. By doing this it should be able to help me accomplish my new year resolution.

MY AWSOME HOLIDAY WITH MY NEW YEAR RESOLUTION!

I had a exceptional ordinary holiday with my family. We spend most of the time together because this is what Christmas about! Gathering with you beloved! We didn’t went to any other countries, my brother and I went to my dad’s company’s party. After the party, my mom joint us and went to shopping. We bought some new clothes and I bought a white jacket which is so fluffy inside! Me and my family watched Les Miserable too! It was so touching, I cried because Fantine, Cosette’s mom, worked so hard but end up dying. It was so unfair! It was a sad tragedy after all! I think Les Miserable is a very interesting movie but it was so sad even my dad sobbed a little too!

I made a resolution last year actually, it was to read the whole series of Harry Potter, and I did it! And this time, it was a little bit difficult to think of a resolution, but I think I’m going to make my resolution as “Getting at least a 6 in math assessment!” There’s many criterion and assessment this year so I don’t think it’s that hard to make it, do it? I have thought of “A cookie a day, keeps your bad mood a way!”, that means I got to eat a cookie everyday, but I think it spends too much money, so I think I’ll get a 6 in math instead. I think my last-term-math-result was the worst through out all my other math assessment! So if I’m getting a 6, my parents will be please and proud of me maybe?

What I’m going to do to make my goal succeed, is to take every important note at math class and read repeatedly. I also need to do a lot of math so I will be so prepared for every assessment. My dad also need to help me with the maths too! Some time I get really messed up with some formula and I will be easily give up. If I saw a 6 in my math paper and my dad is satisfied, I’m succeeded!! I wish me luck~!

My Christmas Celebrate
In this holiday I travel to Tokyo, I have a lot of fun there and brought a lot of thing. After the trip I visit my cousin new born baby, the baby is so cute and the best is he cry less. Other than that I do sport and stay at home for the holiday to play my ps3 and finish my holiday homework.
For my New Year resolution, I would like to improve my reading skill to and study more in each subject, because I think that my test past I did it not very good.
To achieve my resolution I will read more book to improve my skill and study more to get a better grade in the next term.

New year resolution (:

I had a nice Christmas break. I treasured the time left in 2012 by hanging out with friends and with my bed. I also enjoy family activities such as family dinner and go shopping for Christmas gives with them. But what I didn't was the amount of homework the teacher gave us; I spent hours of doing it. But overall the Christmas break was really nice.

My New Year resolution is to get good marks in the report card and do much better in Math. My marks didnt went out as good as last year in the mid-term report card. This is happening because I did not put lots of effort in. Math is one of the hardest subject for me. Im not a math genie, so I need to improve on that. Well of course also other subjects.

To achieve my goal, I need to do more math exercises. Practice makes perfect. Also, I need to do more revisions on other subjects, such as Chinese, English, science etc. Doing well in examination and performing well in class will gain you high score, so I need to be good in class. I hope my New Year resolution will come true.

Down the Deep, Dark Rabbit Hole with My Best Friends Creating My New Years Resolution :D (But Also Doing HW D:)

The first half of my holiday= pure AWESOMENESS. I was tucked away in Wonderland for more than two weeks (one in the Christmas holiday) and somehow I became a "Royal Cardsmen" (4 of Hearts) and was forced to play Simon Says (not croquet!) with le "Queen of Hearts". Even though we're in the same class in the drama organization, my friendship with Ace of Spades, the March Hare, the Mad Hatter, Mathilda and the White Rabbit suddenly increased. I also became great friends with 3 of Diamonds and Alice, even though we barely knew each other before. We kept playing with cards (yes, that's me!) and True or Dare in backstage and rehearsal times. I find the last show particularly interesting because as the script goes "They (it should be Alice) cried and cried and cried and cried, until the entire room was filled with an ocean of tears!" It's really a rare chance to see all cheerful and playful people cry, as they apparently thought the fun in the show process was hard to let go (I think so too, but I didn't think it was worth it to let tears flow out. Afterall, Alice in Wonderland is a happy story... so I didn't cry :D) But the fun of Wonderland never seems to end. When we were back in our normal classes, we kept singing its songs and reciting each other's lines... oh so fun. You'll agree if you were there in person.
On the last day of 2012, I went to Disneyland for most of the day with Athena, Monique, Monique's younger brother - Justin, her mom and my mom. We played all of the roller coasters (I would've played Space Mountain with them if I weren't late!) a couple of times and a few other games. For the night, I went back and had a great dinner with my dad's friends. Don't worry, they have kids and we kids had loads of fun. We even counted down together :)
Second half of my holiday= total BORDOM. That week can be most represented in one sentence and not two paragraphs: I was stuck with a pile of homework in my face :(

My resolution would be similar with last year's. I'd practice hard and try my best to get a good position in the School's Music Festival this year, and at least a merit in my graded piano exam. I'd work hard in school to get a much better mark in Chinese and hopefully get a scholarship... and most of all, let everyday pass with happiness and good surprises (this point is hard) and awesomeness... :D

Ian Lee vs Reality: A True Story

My Christmas Holiday could be summed up with a single word: disappointing. With the promise of a visit to Japan and numerous days of fun-filled excitement and a long absence from school, I was looking forward to the upcoming holiday break.

I returned home on Friday a happy and relaxed student, thinking of things to do during my Christmas vacation, perhaps I could spend an entire week messing around on my Mac, surfing the internet with little to no repercussions, or perhaps I could spend an entire evening napping and resting, relieving myself from the stress and trauma that originated from the horrifying assessment week. Nonetheless, I was overjoyed, but a quick glance to my homework-filled backpack crushed my hopes of having a fun and enjoyable break, as crushing reality returns to torture me even further, I realized that an ideal vacation is nothing but wishful thinking.

Oh yeah, I also went to Japan but that was a waste of time because my family spent the entire trip shopping for cup noodles.

In order to relieve myself of my sadness and agony I decided to work on my new years' resolutions so I can keep myself entertained.

I decided to stop myself from procrastinating since wishful thinking won't save me from the evil clutches of reality, and ignoring homework while simultaneously cramming for my finals in the last minute probably won't help me much academically. Hopefully I can accomplish this goal in the year 2013, by posting notes everywhere around the house with the word "Homework" scribbled on it.

I also challenged myself to get better at Math this year, since I'm basically on the verge of flunking the subject now and I should really start catching up if I wanted to pass Mathematics. I could accomplish this by doing Math exercises on a regular basis. This is harder than it sounds.

Anyway, my new year is off to a horrible start, hopefully I can make up for that by having a blast in the year 2013.

Yeh……

On the New Year, I met up with some friends and played a competitive soccer game. My friend and me went to have lunch, and walk around causeway bay for a bit. We also followed the people that want the prime minister or president what ever you like to call it of Hong Kong to give up his job; of course it was for fun. That was quite a long trip they were going to walk so we didn’t follow them all the way.

Then after he went home, I went to play a soccer game against another amateur team with my cousin. I was playing left back and I thought I played alright, although I made a few silly mistakes I still managed to recover from it. I also made a few key dribble, passes and tackles. My opponent were really dirty, they went to the ground a lot and they also have really late timing tackle, which got the man instead of the ball. We drew one all; I think we could’ve won easily if they weren’t as dirty.

I also trained a lot for athletics over the holidays too. I do most of the throwing events in athletics except hammer throw. I actually went in the weight room a bit as well, and that was rather unpleasant.

My New Year resolution is to gain weight. This might sounds weird but I actually think my ‘growth spurt’ is going to end quite soon, probably around December or January next year. So I think I should go in to the weight room a bit more often and work out harder. I have another one is to balance out my muscle, because my legs feel weaker than it should be for my weight, so I would have a goal to achieve in the gym.

And also, I want to look less of a Bogan or what you call Chav or Skid in UK and America. I think that is because when I met up with this friend who was a ex-classmate of mine and when he saw me, the first thing he said was ‘Man, you look exactly the same, a scary bogan.’ So, I probably should dress a bit more gentle or formal if you like to call it.

My Christmas Holiday and New Year Resolution.

In my christmas holiday, the most exciting thing I did was having a christmas buffet in hotel near Wong Chuk Hang. I ate a lot of different food from all around the world, ate a lot of long leg crab from Japan, lobster, sushi, noodle, lobster soup, but the most delicious food was the desert, especially the cheese cake, and the milk pudding. And on boxing day I was so exciting because I can unwrap my present, although I knew what most of my present was. I got a PS3, a DVD of WWE(Wrestling) and games for PS3.

In my New Year Resolution I want achieve losing a bit weight cause I am a bit fat. I want to read more English book and Chinese book in this year, inorder to improve my grammer, and vocabularies, because I need I think English and Chinese language skills is below average in my year grade, and there is a big space to improvement.

I would like improve my language by reading more advance books, and set a timetable which will allow me to have a enough time to read books.

New Year to Come, New Goals to Set

Every year, we have a christmas and new year holiday. If Christmas was not my favorite amongst all the holidays I have, I would not say I enjoy this ordinary holiday. You might curious about the reason why I said that. After the Christmas Party held on 21st December 2012 in school, I had a serious headache. Although headache seems a "not so serious"/slight illness, headache was driving me crazy.

Every day I woke up in the morning, I felt fire burning inside my head. This was not the worst part. In the holiday, I was assigned homework and assignments from different subject teachers. Every day, I can't focus on my work because of my headache. Although after a week, my headache seems to be getting better, which means that I can get back to work. But, recovering from headache does not help! I lose a week of the long christmas break already, that means it is time for homework rush.

After explaining what I have done this holiday, which was not as entertaining as the people who went on trips. But, as I mentioned above, I said I enjoyed the holiday. The only reason for that was because I enjoyed singing Christmas Carols. Christmas was the only time I can sing Christmas Carols on the street without other people teasing and smirking.

New Year has came, it is time to make a new year resolution. For this year, I will say I need to improve on my organizing skills. I have selected this because I always cannot find things when I needed something. It will benefit me because I often need to find things in limited time. I will accomplish the goal by taking out 15 minutes every day to organize my things. The only reason that I might not be able to finish the work is because I gave reasons to myself for not organizing for a day. I will know I have succeeded if I can find 10 things really quickly without finding all over the place!

New Year, New Goals

During holidays, I usually go on a vacation with my family. The holiday in December, I went to Shenzhen, Beijing, and Yunnan. The best part is Beijing. In Beijing, we met my auntie. She introduced us to “北京南山滑雪”. I snowboarded for about 3 days and had lots of fun with my family.

During New Years, I am planning for a New Years resolution. One of my resolutions is to get fit and get more muscles. Another resolution is to improve my overall efficiency of homework and other tasks and improve my reading skills. This is important because as you get into high school and college, you will have less time to do homework, thus reading comprehension is important. By improving my efficiency, I can do more work, in a shorter amount of time, making my time more meaningful.

I can get into shape by going to the gym more often. I can improve my overall efficiency of homework and other tasks by being more focused and concentrated. My reading skills can be improved by reading more books and doing more reading comprehension questions. I may not accomplish these goals because it is hard to do them as a daily routine.

 My holiday and the accomplishments.

During the my christmas holiday, i didn't travel to anywhere, just went to my friend's. We played all kind of electronic and card games most of the time during the home stay. we will also went to Tseung Kwan O riding bicycles. We need to spend five hours to finish our holiday homework although we are from different schools. I spent rest of the time reading and exercising to train my muscular strength and improve literature skills.

This year I have a few new year resolution, I hope I can improve my time management, don't be late when hanging out with friends. Secondly, I hope I can improve my chinese scores because chinese was one of my best subjects in the past few years. Lastly, I want to improve my deduction skills, choose the appropriate information to improve my learning.

I will accomplish my goals by overcoming laziness.Because I always want to rest, lying on the sofa reading, play video games, drinking wine(soft drinks) <------------------- Just joking
These accomplishments are reasonable so I think I can accomplish them In this second term. One more extra point, I am doing more reading to improve my literature skills and critical thinking. I hope my accomplishments and wishes come true !

New Year, New Step to Success

Last year’s Christmas holiday, my friends and I went to have a lot of gatherings such as BBQ parties and learning languages together.

In the BBQ party, we went to Kowloon Habourside to play together as well as making friends. My friends was playing cards and it is such a great time with them. Other than barbecuing with my friends, I also went to play with dogs at my mom’s friend’s house. It was surprising that how the dog has grown. It became larger and more “enthusiastic” that the dog nearly pounced on me! It was nearly 100% chaos with the big dog. On the other hand, handling the pomeranian is easier, much more easier, although it peed on my mom’s feet. It is nearly the most funny thing I have ever seen.

My new year resolution is to be one of the top person in this year. In order to achieve this, I must score 48 or above to get the name of “Academic Excellent”. As last year I got 48, I wish in this year’s report card, I can get a 49 or above.  Thats the reason why I am starting to work hard, (AKA Switching on work mode) lolz. If I can carry on with getting 7 in Math, Science, I may achieve this target. Also, I need to Study hard, work hard, in order to improve in English. The big 3 that I need to care about is English, Humanities and Arts (Music and Visual Arts).

My Christmas Holiday:D

Well… I didn’t really do anything exciting during the Christmas holiday. The most exciting I did was going to Disneyland with Natalie and another friend. It was a fun day! I also went to watch “Life of Pi” with my parents. It’s a really really really good movie! I loved it! I also watched Les Misérables with my parents, it’s the saddest movie that I have ever closed my eyes to! I basically spent the rest of my vacation doing homework, sleeping in, pigging out and watching vids on Youtube. It was a typical boring Christmas break. Oh! I just remembered that I played a game of marble chess with my mom and dad. I won two games and my mom won one game, which made me the winner. When I played with my dad, I won the first round and he won the second, so we had a tie. Again just your average Christmas break. Oh well.

Athena’s Amazing New Year Resolutions:D (AANYR)

My New Year resolutions for this year are firstly, that I can achieve a high level in my term two report card. Why did I choose this? Well, academic very important if I want to get into my dream collage and if I do achieve a high level, it will makes things easier for me. I will know I succeeded when I achieve a high score in my term two report card. I might fail because I’m a lazy teen and doesn’t want to do much studying. Secondly, hopefully I will grow more tall, so I won’t be a munchkin or and elf compared to my peers, in the present and hopefully not in the future. I will know I succeeded when I’m a similar height as my peers and I won’t have to tilt my head when I talk to them. I might fail because I don’t really do any activities that will make me taller. Thirdly, I will read more variety of books, because reading is fun! It is able to enlarge my imagination and sight during writing, and I am able to know a whole lot more variety of vocabulary, which again is really useful in daily life and in the future. I will know I succeeded when I’m writing and I have a whole pool of words to choose from. Fourthly, I will try to manage my time better, also known as- time management, I choose it because I suck at it and I need a huge improvement. I will know I improved when my parents don’t n scold me but praise me. I might fail because I seriously suck at it. Oh well. I did tryJ

When we leave Stanley plaza, mom brought shark necklace, we also buy a birthday for our uncle, because that day was his birthday. When we went back   to Aberdeen, me, my mom, Sophia, my aunt, my grandma together open a birthday party for my uncle at the pizza hut. After birthday party, we all went back to south horizon, to his house to watch movie.

I use most of the  Christmas  holiday to do my homework. Especially the last  two days, my father checked my Christmas homework with me, and he helped me to improve it.

My resolution goal is to get every subject grade at least 4. I chose this goal because I want to promote to year 9. , If I don’t have enough points, I have to move to another school or even don’t study.

I will achieve my goal by study on what I don’t understand. I will also read books and do research. I will everyday review what I learn that day. The reason is that I wish to do far better in the future than before. I think this term I did my best but I need to do better than that.

I have tutor on Monday, Wednesday Thursday, Friday, Saturday .

Monday-learning buddy

Wednesday-any subject

Thursday -Chinese

Friday- art and Chinese

Saturday- any subject

This year , I will not lie to teacher, and hand in all my homework in on time , also check my homework. My dad will help me check my homework.

What I did over the winter holiday

During the Christmas holiday, I went to Shenzhen for 4 days, other than that, I rarely left the house.

We left at 2 in the afternoon and took the MTR from Hang Hau to Luo Wu where we cross the border and arrived at Shen Zhen. When we got to the hotel, we checked-in out luggage and then went to our room, 2512, on the 25th floor. The elevator at the hotel were as slow as molasses, it took a whole 1 minute and 20 seconds to get to the 25th floor from the 2nd floor where the looby was located. By the time we finally unpacked, it was already 8 PM and I was super tired so I stayed at the hotel and slept as my parents and my sister went out to eat.

On the second day, we went to the Window of the World, a park with models, attractions, and a giant 1:3 replica of the Eiffel Tower in the centre. I thought that the park was very boring. The day after that, we went to a theme park just across from the Window of the World. There was rollercoasters and attractions and by the time I finished riding all of them, it was already sunset. On the fourth day, we packed our bags and took the ferry back to Hong Kong. The following days until winter break was over pretty much just consists of waking up at 1 o’clock in the afternoon, and then falling asleep at 9 o’clock.

During 2013, I have many things that I would like to change about my self, the biggest one is that I am very prone to procrastination and I often find myself staying up late to finish homework. This leads to stress and sometimes sleep deprivation. I would like to change this about myself. To do that, I must first do my homework and then have free time. That way, I can be sure that the homework is finished and I won’t have to stay up late to finish my homework.

NEW YEAR RESOLUTIONS OF 2013 YEAHHHHHHHH

During the Christmas holiday, I went aboard a cruise sailing from Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand. It was a very special experience because I get to meet people all around the world. There were 760 crew members on the ship coming form 40 different countries, therefore it was easier for travellers to communicate with each other, and it felt a lot easier. It was the first time I visited hot climate places during winter and Christmas, It felt a lot different, seeing people caroling on the street when its 30 degrees. In my opinion, I still liked the Christmas spirit in Hong Kong a lot more.

My new year resolution in 2013 will be, taking care wisely after my belongings, and learning how to tidy my stuff. I have always been told that I don’t know how to take care of my stuff after I finished using them, the truth is, not that I don’t know, its just that I often forget. Therefore this year, I want to change that and become a more tidy person.

To accomplish my new year resolutions, I should start thinking of ways I could organize my belongings such as purchasing more drawers and dividers to put objects in neatly, most importantly I have to remember it myself, for example by using sticky notes or other tools to help me. Or else, no matter how many drawers or dividers I buy, it still wouldn’t help.

New Year Resoution

As a regular day, I sleep, eat and go on the Internet. However in the summer vacation, I am able to do more then sleep, eat and go on the Internet. In the winter, I have been constantly going shopping since shanghai has so many things to buy and see. It is a lot cheaper than Hong Kong. Also I have been going to temples and museum and a lot of their religions in Shanghai is Buddhism. Since my grand parents are Buddhist and they were born in Shanghai, they know a lot about it and we easily planned our everyday schedule. One of my favorite temple is the” 清命館”. It is a museum where it shows antiquated treasure from shanghai and I was so amazed in how people from before can invent such thing. Except for playing I had to do some study also. I have been learning Chinese and English for a few days. It was a fun trip.

This year I have made some agreements to myself. I have decided to make a list of New Year resolutions. This year I’m looking forward to study a whole lot of new vocabulary to improve my English. Also I would like to try having a higher average score in all subjects and better efforts in my homework as well as my classwork. I am looking forward to meet more people and culture all over the world if it is possible. I wish to meet more friends at school in the outside of school.

I will improve my English by learning more vocabs and reading more books. Also I will try get along with everyone I meet no matter its friend or enemy.

HOPEFULLY ACHIEVABLE G0ALS F0R 2013
I started off my holiday with completing my Humanities homework. After that I started making my timetable. I went to church on Tuesday, since I haven't went for a long time because I was so busy. Afterwards we went to eat dinner at a restaurant in Jusco. On December30th Sunday morning our whole family went to Tsuen Wan to eat breakfast. Afterwards, we went to the airport. I ate a bowl of dumplings noodles. We arrived at a five star hotel and lived there for a night. We used the facilities swimming pool, and swam there. There dinner and breakfast bouffe was probably the best out of all meals, but the others weren't bad. The second days first trip- we went to learn all about wines. Had our lunch. Went to Eslite. We bought food within the shops on the streets. It was extremely crowded. We had to go inside a mall in order to eat comfortably. We went on a ship to appreciate the views in Taiwan for the third days first travelling location. Went for meal. Tasted teas. We arrived at our resort. Ate dinner. The fourth day we went to a nearby farm and played with the sheep for more than an hour. We then went to five dime and had our lunch. We then went to the airport and came back to Hong Kong on the second and I did my Science homework for the rest of the holiday.
This year I would like to improve on my organization skills. I feel really upset with myself starting from Year 8 on, for the subject Chinese because one of the reasons I couldn't hand in my homework often, is because I wasn't good at it. Thus to improve it I should read more books.

BYE 2012! HELLO 2013!

In this christmas holiday, I stayed in Hong Kong. I got the chance to spend more time with my family and friends. Before Christmas, I went to disney land with my friends,  and some of them just came back from America. I spent chritmas with my family, we went to cheung chau and during christmas eve, me and my family went to ParkLane hotel for countdown, welcoming the new year. On the first day of 2013, the whole family went to Macau to shop. We lived in the galaxy hotel, I am so glad that I can take advantage of this holiday to spend more time with my family, because when I get back to school, I have to focus on my grades and schoolwork.

My new year resolution is to be happy, get good greades, eat healthy, keep up the relationship with my friends and family and also spend less time on my computer. I hope that I could achieve my goals! J

In this Christmas holidays, I have to practise for the dancing competition so that’s why I didn’t really spend time celebrating Christmas that much. I’m very bored in the Christmas holidays but I have met my friends and have gone to Ocean Park to have a blast! It is really fun and we have tried all the rollercoasters and have spent the funniest times eating a lunch together. Then each night, my mother had arranged dinners with my friends and families, they are all yummy and delicious. I also spend my last day of 2012 playing with my dad’s friend’s daughter, who is really young around 3. I have spent my last day babysitting her. She is a really enthusiastic, cute and smart, it is actually really fun spending time with her, because I can recall my very fun childhood.

In this New Year 2013, I need to start to have some goals, because I think my year in 2012 didn’t do my best in school and other stuff. So I need to have some New Year resolution. My goal this year is really general, do my best at school, improve my grammars and do more exercise for math and get a better grade.  I have to improve my grammars because grammar is basically my side that I suck at it, so I have to improve. I also have to do more exercise for math because math is really my worst subject in my report card.
