Stage 1: Program Notes
The show is called Home Alone. It belongs to “Comedy”. It is about a family accidentally leaving their son at home at Christmas.
It is a film originally aired in cinema, but later, it has been aired on TV shows.
It was first released on 14th February in 1991. It usually aired at Christmas.
It has 4 episodes in total. Its target audience is families. I know it because it is shown in family TV channel. And it usually shows at family time at night.
I choose it because it is funny and teaching us how to protect our house when there are thieves. Before watching the show, I think it is about funny scenes only, but actually, it gives us a message on “FAMILY LOVE”. Overall, I think it meet my expectation.
I recommend the show to add more scenes on the child’s family, so to let us know more about the child’s family background.
Stage 2: Analysis of Form
I watched the first episode of Home Alone. I watched it in DVD. The form of the program usually shows the scary face of the thieves, then, I think they will be back soon.
The sound effect makes me laugh easily. Especially when there is sound of screaming from the thieves. I think all those sound are from the film internally.
Stage 3: Program Review
I think this is a good show, because the thieves really act very real. For example, in one scene, the thief stepped on the glasses, and it sounds he really break the glasses, and so very painful. I think he really get hurt in the show. I think the show is appropriate for families because there are no bloody scenes.
I think Television does not distract, delude, amuse, or insulate us. Instead, it provides us fun.
Stage 4: Final Analysis
I think it is possible for family to leave their children at home, but those children will not be clever enough and brave to fight against the thieves. I think the emotions of the characters are predictable, they look like real people, and they grow at a normal rate.
If it is put in the category of Reality TV, I think the show is not real, because again, there will be no children like the main character inside be that clever. I think the possible way to encourage its target audience is focus on a message “Don’t leave your child alone at home”.
Stage 1: Programs note
The show that I am going to be watching is “ The Suite Life Of Zack And Cody”. This is a comedy show about a normal life of a pair twin Zack and Cody, who lives at the Tipton hotel with their mother. The 2 troublesome twin always cost some trouble in the hotel, but at the end of the show they some how find a solution to fix what the have done.
The show was first broadcast on Disney Channel on March 8th 2005 with 4 million viewers. The show has 3 seasons and has more than 80 episodes, and every episode runs for about 22-23 minutes. Its intended audience is aimed at teenagers around 8 – 12 years old. I have already been enjoying this show for a long time since the first episode was aired. I like this because it is a comedy show that could be watch by anyone at any age. It is very interesting to watch because you can never guess what could happen next, because off all that creative thing that they can think of. I recommend this show to any child who likes comedy or any family who likes comedy. I can assure that you wont be disappointed by watching this show.
Stage 2: Analysis or form
The episode I watch is season 1 episode one “Hotel Hang out” , Season 1 episode 2 “The Fairest Of Them All". I watch this show on the internet using You Tube. Basically in every episode of “The suite life of Zack and Cody” the 2 troublesome boys get into some kind of trouble, for example in episode 1 zack and Cody brought some friends over. More and more came and made the hotel a mess. In episode 2 Cody accidentally entered a beauty pageant while following a cute girl into the dressing room to give her some flowers. “ So some how in every episode the get themselves into some kind of trouble.
But at the end of every episode they find a way of fixing the problem. For example in episode 1 they finally got rid of the friends that only likes them for their money or where they live, and only let the friends who were loyal to them even before they knew that they live in the Tipton hotel. And in episode 2 he confess to the judges that he is not a girl and accidentally entered the contest for the money to buy some new bikes. I enjoyed these episodes that I watched because it is funny and interesting. Also it is a show that is family friendly.
Stage 3: Program review
I think I enjoyed this show a lot cause of its family friendly comedy, and their interesting plots. After watching these 2 episode it makes me want to watch more of the show because I want to find out what kind of mischief they are going to get in next, what kind is going to happen to them and how they are going to get out of it. I am also very fascinated by the content the producers can think of, just by watching those 2 episodes I know that the producers can come up with different and interesting ideas that are different from other shows.
I think that this show is appropriate for children and teenagers because their show is not violent and doesn’t have any foul language or contents. This makes the show friendly to every one every age. I think this show is better than other shows on Disney channel. From watching a lot of shows from Disney channel when I was young I enjoyed this show most. Because it is very different from other shows. The contents and ideas in this show is not like other shows its more interesting and more fun to watch.
Stage 4: Final analysis
I think that the degree of realism in this show is very real because this is what a normal pair of twin would do in their normal day life. They would go to school, they would cause some troubles, makes some friends and have sleep overs just like normal kids. They have emotions like normal people and their emotions are predictable. Because when you watch them you can see by their acting how they are feeling right now. For example in episode 2 when Cody accidentally entered the beauty pageant contest he was nervous because he had to where skirts and step on stage. When he had fallen in love with the girl you can see his emotions, his eyes grow big and he is very nervous to talk to her. So this show is very real.
So in conclusion I think that this is a very good show that is family friendly and has a very interesting content with good comedy. It is also suitable for kids from every age range. And content that every one could enjoy.

Stage 2: Analysis of Form
I have watched 5 random episodes of Glee on iTunes by renting them. In every episode, they will always sing a song and the song will relate to what happens later in that episode. The show covers a range of music. The show is very unrealistic but it is hilarious and the music is amazing. It is also very unique.
Stage 3: Program Review
Overall, I think that this is a good show. If I could, I would definitely watch this show again. I enjoyed this show a lot when I’m watching with friends and talking about them. Although it has some inappropriate scene, it is very, very funny. Plus, most teenagers can get over it.
Stage 3: Final Analysis
I think that this show is very unreal but very funny. They sing, they get in trouble, and makes jokes. The show is unpredictable and exciting. This show is also perfect for family and friends. In conclusion, this is a great show for teenagers to adults.
