 Join us on May 1st for our annual Charity Dinner and Auction at the Sundance Mountain Resort as we raise funds to reduce infant mortality in Zambia. In June of 2022, Neonatal Rescue went to Zambia and delivered 19 ventilators and trained 141 healthcare professionals on neonatal care. While our last trip to Zambia was a success, Zambia has over 200 hospitals and we only were able to train 7. Our non-profit partner, World Vision has asked us to come back to Zambia in the fall in order to reach our shared goal of expanding neonatal care throughout Zambia. World Vision, a global humanitarian organization that seeks to end poverty and injustice, will facilitate the expansion of trainings and building connections between Neonatal Rescue and Zambian hospitals. World Vision, additionally, is generously providing funds for us to expand our work in Zambia, but more funds are needed. We plan on creating even bigger trainings for midwives, nurses, and doctors, as well as training for biotechs on the maintenance and repair of ventilators and equipment.
