this is a fun monster movie. a baby monster is taken from it's island
home and rescued by it's rather perturbed parents. along the way the
human characters learn a lesson or two.

many people think this is a Japanese remake of GORGO (1961) and the
similarities are there- the whole plotline, along with small island
boy who knows better than the civilized people from Japan. still, the
filmmakers deny ever having seen GORGO, and it's also similar to
MOTHRA (1961) in it's own way.

the dubbing is from William Ross, so we don't get the standard Titra
voices. it's not bad.
