Hi All,

I'm pretty eager to try out the XSD to UML fucntionnality of
hyperModel but I can't get it installed on my Ubuntu Jaunty/Eclipse
3.4 set up. I successfully installed XSD Profile and Datatypes, but I
can't get hyperModel.

Repository I use : http://download.xmlmodeling.com/hyperModel/updates/site.xml

Error I get :

Cannot complete the request. See the details.
XSD Profile and DataTypes will be ignored because it is already
installed.
Unsatisfied dependency:
[com.xmlmodeling.hyperModel.feature.feature.group 3.1.0.200812011531]
requiredCapability: org.eclipse.equinox.p2.iu/
org.eclipse.emf.feature.group/[2.2.0,3.0.0)

hyperModel properties :

Compatible with UML models created by UML tools supporting UML 2.1
specification.
[Requires Eclipse 3.3 (or greater), EMF 2.3 and UML2 2.0]

I have EMF 2.4.0 so do I specifically need 2.3 ?

Here's the error I get when trying to install UML Tools (which
according to the docs requires only Eclipse 3.4) :

Answering to self :

Rebooting Ubuntu (heck I just left windows 'cos I was fed up with
rebooting :-( ) and going at it again worked ...

Now the UML generated isn't all that pretty so there must be something
in the way our xsd is written. Also, can I use editors other than
what's in Eclipse to read the generated .uml ? An XMI editor like
Umbrello won't take it.

TIA,

Yves
