We just finalized who the judges will be for the 2026 GIS Colorado Mapping Contest! You can ‘meet’ the judges on this webpage. Your maps will be showcased at the 2026 Elevations Geospatial Summit (held May 20-21st in Steamboat Springs, CO). We look forward to your submission and can’t wait to see what you create!

Contest Sections & Categories

·       Two sections: Professional & Student

·       Two categories in each section: Cartographic Work & Interactive Experiences

·       People’s Choice Award (that will be voted on during the Summit)

We’ll do the math for you, this means there are 5 cash awards being given out, so enter your map and maybe you will win!

Who Should Submit?

• Students: Proud of a course assignment? Submit it!

• Professionals: Recently completed or contributed to a celebrated project? We want to see it.
