Your Input Requested for NSDI Assessment

Greetings!

Please take a few minutes of your valuable time to complete the survey to inform the NSDI Assessment! Whether you are a data producer or consumer of the framework layers, COGO wants to hear your opinion of the status of these data. 

The Coalition of Geospatial Organizations (COGO), of which NSGIC is a Member Organization, has prepared an online survey whose results will be important input for drafting the next National Spatial Data Infrastructure (NSDI) Assessment report. As you may know, the NSDI Assessment is a key organizational product that COGO produces every four years and extra thoughtful attention has gone into this survey's design and production. We expect the final Assessment document, with an anticipated publication date of September 2027, to serve as an impactful and widely-referenced document. The survey will be open until June 19.

COGO seeks input from both expert and non-expert users of NSDI Framework data. By collecting survey input from as broad a swath of the US-based geospatial community as possible, COGO gains important information for advancing and supporting the NSDI, which is COGO's primary goal for its Assessment efforts.  Please forward this to other GIS professionals in your network to maximize the net cast.
