GIS Day is a fantastic opportunity for all to see how math, science, and technology come together to solve real-world problems. The event features:
Lightning Talks: Hear quick, engaging 10-15 minute presentations on geospatial topics from professionals, instructors, and students.
Interactive Geospatial Challenge: Participate in a fun, audience-driven activity using mapping technology and digital engagement tools.
GIS Expo: Explore exhibits from industry, government, and community partners showcasing real-world applications of geospatial technology and careers in the field.
Career & Education Connections: Discover how GIS is used in fields such as meteorology, natural resource management, environmental science, research, and emerging technologies.
