2.  New book!

Ten members of the NSGIC GeoWomen Work Group have collaborated on a new book, 10 Little Rules for Managing Change.  I know about 2/3 of the authors from years working with state GIS associations and they are all wonderful people.

The book features firsthand stories from women in geospatial leadership roles across the United States. Through personal narratives paired with practical lessons, the authors explore how they are leading through change, building resilience in both their careers and personal lives, and driving innovation in mapping, GIS, location intelligence, and spatial data science — all with an eye toward public good and better outcomes for communities.  And one is our very own wonderful KAREN ROGERS!

All 10 authors have committed to donating 100% of their royalties from book sales to the National Geospatial Collaborative (NGC).

See Link to the Media Kit below, which also contains a press release with additional background and details.
