Network Neutrality - what is it & what does it mean to you?

Today, all data from all sources move over the Internet at the same
priority. During this debate, a name has been coined for this movement
of data: Network Neutrality. Many of the backbone providers of the
Internet such as AT&T want to prioritize traffic that makes them more
money, by charging large data providers such as Google more money in
order to prevent traffic from those providers from being reduced in
priority over their backbone lines.

If you want your website to perform well, you'll cough up the
"protection money". From Good Morning, Silicon Valley: "Nice website
you got there. Shame if anything were to happen to it."

If you would like to do support Network Neutrality and do something
about the threats to it, call your Congressional representatives, email
them, send them a letter, and add your own blog or statement on your
blog or website, and send information to and tell people you know.
