Gearing up for World Radio Day 2012

Its been great to hear from people all over the world who are
organising events to mark World Radio Day. Massive thanks to Uzma
(Lifeline Energy) for adding them to this map http://www.lifelineenergy.org/events2.html
which is a great visual to show the breadth of activity. Feel free to
suggest any more!

We've both been working with Carlos (SOAS Radio) and Birgitte
(Empowerhouse) to organise this event in London http://worldradiodaylondon.eventbrite.com/

We wanted to create this group a place to share any links of content
associated with the day (Maybe press releases in advance or audio/
video/blogs to report on activities). More importantly, we can start
to build a network of anyone interested in World Radio Day to ensure
conversations continue so that next year is bigger and better!
