Biking Colombia: The only Risk is Wanting to Stay

"Colombia - the only risk is wanting to stay" is the country's
official tourism slogan. Well, we did end up hanging around the
country´s most touristic city, Cartagena, for more than a week so there
´s some truth to the propaganda.

We didn´t knowingly bump into masked FARC fighters and nobody seemed
interested in kidnapping two sweat-drenched souls on bicycles which
means we´ve made it safely to Venezuela. Which is actually where the
real danger lies if guidebook writers are to be trusted for safety
advice. But that´s next month´s blog posting.
