Hello from Portland where we’re enjoying balmy Indian summer weather—
yesterday the temperature was up to a whopping 93 degrees (33
Celsius).

We’re pedaling towards the Pacific, enjoying some of the best scenery
in America and meeting the usual cast of unusual characters. Last
week’s winner for best teller of tall tales was the wolfman.
