A big hello from Bakersfield!
This week we’ll share with you seven days of life on the road. All
the highs and lows that come with a round the world cycling adventure,
although we must say this week was heavy on the random acts of
kindness and pretty light on troubles.

The inspiration for this topic comes from Friedel and Andrew at
travelingtwo.
http://travellingtwo.com/. They’ve recently put the pedaling to a
halt but are still busy supplying the cycling community with lots of
terrific biking resources.
Nancy from family on bikes recently interviewed us for an article for
her series on world bicycle tourists. Check out what we have to say
about touring here:

tour here:

We’re off to the Mojave desert tomorrow and then onto the high deserts
of Arizona and Texas. Desert cycling is our favorite and we’re
looking forward to the wide open spaces and lonely highways.
Thanks to all of you for your support--emails and comments are always
appreciated.
Hope this finds you happy,
Amaya and Eric
