Here is a paragraph from an email sent out by the NOC Director monday.
As you may be aware, the BLM has been reviewing our requirements and
capabilities related to the NILS applications. Today, the BLM
announced it is taking steps to retire the Parcel Management, Measure
Management and Survey Management modules within NILS. The BLM will
provide continued support for GeoCommunicator until a suitable
replacement system is found to meet the business requirements.

I stand corrected. While the email I quoted from previously talked
about 3 modules in NILS, I just sat through a Geospatial conference
call and saw a hard copy of an email from the Chief, Division of IRM
Support Services at the NOC that says the decision to decommission
NILS has been made "at the highest level.".

What impact, if any, do you think it might have on resuscitation of
CMM/CEFB ?
