OK, specially coming from me, debating about wine VS water could
*taste odd*...
It's neither about a suddenly disinterest in this "divine beverage",
nor in relation with the recent sobriety twittered by a co-initiator
of Winecamp: http://twitter.com/missrogue/statuses/18023981

As an organizer of different wine+non-profit events, I still have had
to think about the pro and con of this pair.
One of my worst souvenir concerning that was during a fundraising wine
operation organized with the UN Refugee agency where people met the
winemakers and tasted wines. Unfortunately it was during Ramadan and a
very kind Muslim woman employee of the UNHCR HQ in Geneva was here
with her parents and she told me how frustrated she was...
So, it's not a place for speaking about religion, but it's one of the
blatant limit of the concept of using wine for helping and spreading
about non-profit: wine is forbidden for a significant part of the
citizens of the world.
The other principal limit is about the alcool present in wine: there
are tons of cases where alcool is a real plague, and there are
thousands of people in the world who invest their non-profit energy in
fighting against this plague.

On the other hand, water is one of the key factors for lots of non-
profits, for humanitarian concerns as well as environmental.
If you think the idea to re-think the name and concept sounds
expedient, I'd be glad to propose this second winecamp as perfectly
apropos for a gently switch: the winecamp will take place on the
administartive division of Evian, one of the most notorious water in
the world: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Evian

[reassuring] whatever the direction of this discussion may be, I
promise there will be some good wines for the winecampers ;) [/
