Sent in my wife's HP laptop to the law suit site and will be sent a
new PC soon. In the mean time I checked and they said I could remove
the hard drive which I have done. It's a Hitachi HTS541612J99A0 can
not read the rest. My question, what kind of a hard drive enclosure do
I need to get in order to use this drive with her new PC?

Old thread but replying in case someone needs an answer in the future. What you would want to look for is a SATA to USB adaptor that has a power supply with it. Somethng like this it is USB 3 which would help out a great deal when transferring files and it comes with a 12V 2A power supply.
