I was taking a look at my system monitor specs and the the virtual
memory vs. the physical memory usage seemed a little strange.

V=1.12 GB
P=905 MB

At the time I had the full adobe suite open with a variety of files
open in each application. I was also listening to iTunes and recording
the a-team on media center. Is there something that I can do to adjust
that balance, would that benefit me?

Pentium 4 (630) 3.00 GHz
4 GB PC2-4200 (533)
2x WD 400 GB @ RAID 0
WD 40 GB (scratch)
PNY 6600 PCI-e 256 MB
430 watt Antec PSU
Intel D915PBL Motherboard

According to your specks Jerry your computer is a good one.
The 904 mb on the phiysical is what you got left after all
the program are running. You can try not to run so many
program at once so you don't consurme physical memory.
You can try to increase Virtual memory up to a larger
number if your getting a error message.
But other than what you told me your computer should be
able to handle it.Dave
