Ctrl-c does not always copy selected object but screen dump...?

the above says it all, lots of times when pressing ctrl-c while having
selected some object (say text or a file) and trying to put the data
into another application using ctrl-v I get an image of my desktop,
it's not always happening but about 8/10 times.

what the hell is going on here?

is your keyboard working fine ??

what happens if you right click copy and paste??

if this is working fine means keyboard has some problem another reason could be due to virus.

YOu have to narrow down the issue accordingly.

1) it could be a Virus. ( try to copy and paste that in safe mode).

2) Keyboard Hardware issue.

3) For Laptop Bios update fix this issue.
